Herbert is an experienced community development and child protection professional currently serving as a project coordinator for the Child Rights Monitoring and Remediation System Protection Project. With over a decade of hands-on experience in program design, implementation and community engagement, he has built a strong track record of supporting vulnerable children and families through sustainable, community-led initiatives.

Throughout his career, Herbert has served in various capacities, including Technical Field Officer, Community Development Officer, Program Officer and Program Manager. He has previously worked with reputable organizations such as Youth Alive, Jinja Area Communities Federation and Busia Area Communities Federation, where he contributed to supporting communities, promoting child protection and strengthening local development initiatives.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Adult and Community Education from Kyambogo University and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Public Administration at Uganda Management Institute.
