Jenner is a seasoned senior youth development specialist with over 17 years of progressive experience at ChildFund, where he has served in various roles including Sponsorship Officer, Area Manager, Regional Program Manager and Program Specialist. Throughout his career, he has worked across all nine Local Partners, focusing on supporting young people through capacity development in sponsorship, youth engagement and family livelihoods.

Before joining ChildFund, he spent four years at Mbale Area Federation of Communities (MAFOC), where he served for two years as a Community Development Facilitator, focusing on education, livelihoods and emergency response, and later as a Program Officer for Sponsorship. His grassroots experience provided a solid foundation for his later work in youth and community development at the national level.

A passionate advocate for child and youth agency, Jenner has been instrumental in the design and implementation of several youth-led initiatives within the organisation. He has played a key role in the creation and capacity-building of platforms such as the Children & Youth-Adult Partnership, Voice Now, Children and Youth Executive Committees and most recently, the Youth Advisory Councils. He holds a diploma in Education, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences and a certificate in Project Planning and Management from Kyambogo University, Makerere University and Uganda Management Institute respectively.
